The Point & Insurance Reduction Program (defensive driving) has long been available to residents of New York & New Jersey to help them reduce the rates of their auto insurance and have points removed from their driving records.

Originally, the only way to complete a Defensive Driving course was to attend a classroom Driving School. For most people, this meant giving up 6 hours on a weekend or on weekday evenings. Although the students of the defensive driving course would receive an insurance discount for taking the Defensive Driving course ( 5 to 10% ), students would often avoid attending the Defensive Driving Course because of it's length and due to the fact that in most cases, it was BORING.
